After years of persistent advocacy to protect the Buffalo National River from untreated hog waste, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson has listened to national park advocates and is taking action to remove C&H Hog Farms, Inc., a large-scale, industrial swine facility, from the river's watershed.

Governor Hutchinson has also declared that large concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs), like C&H, will no longer be allowed to operate in the Buffalo’s watershed. This is incredible progress for both the Buffalo and park advocates!

Now, send a message to Governor Hutchinson thanking him for his continued leadership in defending the Buffalo National River, and let him know that you support the CAFO ban to protect America's first national river for future generations.

IMPORTANT: Personalizing your letter below will go further in ensuring the Buffalo is permanently protected. To make your message more effective, please share why removing C&H Hog Farms, Inc. and banning CAFOs in the Buffalo watershed is important to you. Thank you!

Thank you for protecting the Buffalo National River!
