Tell Your Senators: Take a Stand and Protect Coastal Parks and Communities from Offshore Drilling!

The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed legislation to permanently protect America’s coastlines -- including national parks and communities -- from the dangers of offshore oil and gas drilling. This is great news!

But now the Senate must take similar action, as the Trump administration continues to push for expanded offshore drilling, threatening our coasts and communities with industrialization and the risk of oil spills. This legislation would remove the Eastern Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific and Atlantic from future offshore drilling, protecting wildlife, hundreds of communities, and parks like Acadia, Cape Hatteras and Channel Islands.

Tell your senators to support and pass both the Coastal and Marine Economies Protection Act and the Protecting and Securing Florida's Coastline Act that would ultimately protect more than 50 national park sites on our coastlines.

IMPORTANT: Personalizing your letter below will go further in ensuring this legislation passes. To make your message more effective, please share why protecting America's coastal parks from expanded offshore drilling is important to you. Thank you!
