UPDATE

The Julius Rosenwald & Rosenwald Schools Study Act passed the House and Senate in December 2020. The bill was conveyed to the president for his signature on January 1, 2021 and signed into law on January 13th of this year. Public Law No. 116-336 authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to “conduct a special resource study of the sites associated with the life and legacy of the noted American philanthropist and business executive Julius Rosenwald, with a special focus on the Rosenwald Schools…” The National Park Service (NPS) is expected to launch their study in October 2021.
